Standing Room Only at Scout Sunday
Kingston Celebrates Scouting’s 92nd Year

Traditionally, Boy Scout Sunday is held immediately after the popular and highly contested Klondike Derby. The Derby tests the Scout’s skills in Map & Compass, Wilderness Survival, Nature, Measurements, Knots & Lashings, Cooking, Camping, First Aid, String Burning and River Crossing.

While Troop #4480 garnered a 1st in Leadership, Troop #49 finished 2nd. The Scout Division saw a 1,2 finish for #4480 while Troop #49 grabbed a 2nd in New Scout Division. The Webelo Division saw Pack #49 take a 1st with 490 out of a possible 500 points.

The Sunday Breakfast is both a celebration for their achievements and a way to thank the community for their year-long support.
