Traditionally, Boy Scout Sunday is
held immediately after the popular and highly contested Klondike
Derby. The Derby tests the Scout’s skills in Map & Compass,
Wilderness Survival, Nature, Measurements, Knots & Lashings,
Cooking, Camping, First Aid, String Burning and River Crossing.
While Troop #4480 garnered a 1st
in Leadership, Troop #49 finished 2nd. The Scout Division saw a
1,2 finish for #4480 while Troop #49 grabbed a 2nd in New Scout
Division. The Webelo Division saw Pack #49 take a 1st with 490 out
of a possible 500 points.
The Sunday Breakfast is both a
celebration for their achievements and a way to thank the
community for their year-long support. |
