Question: Who is your Valentine(s)
and how will you make the day special for them?
Featuring KES children from the third
grade classes of Mrs. Spaulding and Mrs. Delnickas
BRIAN SULLIVAN My very special
Valentine, is my Mom. On February 14th I will make my Mom breakfast. Next,
I will do some chores around the house for her and then make her a card.
Lastly, I will put on a magic show for her. All in all, I will give her
the best Valentine's Day that I can.
ZACHARY VENTURA My Mom is my Valentine
because I love her so much. On Valentine's Day, I will help her around the
house and with anything else she needs help with. I will give her a big
kiss and hug. She does so much for me. My mom is the best!
MADELINE HARLEY My Valentine is very
special to me, my Mom. I will make her day special by staying out of her
way. I will make Mom breakfast and I hope she'll like it. Finally, I bet
she'll appreciate everything I do. I hope Mom has a great day!
ADRIAN BAIRD My Valentine is my younger
brother because I wanted to make up for all the times I have been mean to
him. I'll not be mean to him and I'll do his chores and help him.
AMANDA IZZO My special Valentine is my
sister Melissa because she's special. I will make her day special by
giving her a present. Her present is candy with a card. Instead of acting
like a sister to her, I'll act like a friend.
MITCH GRAZIANO I have a special
Valentine named Nick Graz-iano, he is my brother. On the weekend after
February 14th, I will do something special for my bro-ther. I will let him
watch Blues Clues while I read in my room. When I am done reading I'll
make macaroni and cheese for Nick. I will also make supper and read him a
book until he falls asleep. I hope Nick will be excited.
MARLEE HAIGH My Valentine is my sister,
because she is nice to me. I chose my sister because she helps me with my
soccer drills. I would make breakfast and lunch and I would take her out
to dinner. I would buy her some flowers and make her some cards and not be
mean to her.
MATTHEW TUTTLE My special Valentine is my
Mother because she teaches me things. I will buy her candy, cards,
flowers, and books for her. I would get her a book because my Mom reads in
the sun in the summer. She really needs a pair of sunglasses so maybe I'll
get some for her. All and all, I think this will be the best Valentine's
Day ever.
JOSHUA REILLY My special Valentine's are
my Mom and Dad because they take care of me. On Valentine's Day I will
take them out to dinner and pay for the dinner and then I will get them
flowers. After, I will do the chores and take care of the dog.
BRANDON AGNEW My Val-entine's this year are
my Mom and Dad. They are my Valentine's because they have a big love for
me. I will give my Mom flowers and my Dad a basketball and a gift
certificate to Paisano's for both of them. When the day ends, I will show
lots of love towards them, even more than usual!
ERIC M. SMITH I will give a special gift to
my Valentine Matt Kelley. If Matt wasn't my friend who would have taught
me all of this cool stuff, like building a train. Matt likes to go to
Social Studies and learn historical facts. The 14th is going to be the
best, especially with a great friend like Matt.
CHRISTINA PANDOLFO My Mom is my
Valentine because she is always caring for me. On Valentine's Day I will
clean up the house for her, make breakfast and make her a Valentine. Next,
I will give her a hug and put her to bed. As you can see, I will do a lot
of nice things for my Mom.
MATTHEW KELLEY I have a special Valentine
friend, Ryan S. He is a winner and a champion. On February 14th, I'm going
to give a special gift of friendship to Ryan and he will be very
surprised. I think of him each day and feel lucky to have him as a great
friend of mine.
BEAU GOULD My special Valentine's are Mom
and sister, Aubrey, because they love me and help me with my homework. On
Valentine's Day, I will make cards for them, help Mom do laundry and help
Aubrey pick up all our toys. Finally, I will give them a hug.
KEVIN BERRY My grandmother is my Valentine
because she makes me happy. She's nice and she takes us to Martha's
Vineyard and restaurants like Bobby Hackett's and Isaacs and gives us
things when we don't even ask her to. Like when we walk out of the door of
her house.
EVAN LYONS My special Valentines are my Mom
and Dad. They bring me places and help me. My Mom and Dad help me read,
write, and help me do well on my tests and at sports. To make the Day
special I will do the trash without being asked, make my bed, and I will
not fight with my brother and sister.
JESSICA ROWE My Valentines are Makayla and
John because they're nice to me and they're my best friends. First, I will
make a card for them and sit with them on the bus. Then I will play with
them at recess and we will play tag. Then on the way home I will sit with
them.
NATHAN PETROU My special Valentines are my
Mom and Dad because they love me and I love them. On Valentine's Day, I
will make breakfast, give them cards, and do their chores. My Mom will get
red roses from me and my Dad will get candy from me. Last, I will let them
do what they want to do the rest of the day.
SASHA LAFERTΙ My Valentine is my cousin
Amy because she is fun and I love her. To make the Day special, I will
give her some chocolate, do her hair, and take her to dinner and dessert.
Then, I will bring her to Boomers to race cars. Lastly, I will walk her
dogs. I hope Amy has a Happy Val-entine's Day!
NICHOLAS PIERCE This year my Valentine is
my Mom. My Mom is going to get a very special present from me. When she
opens it she will be surprised. My Mom will hug and kiss me and keep it in
a safe place. I will say, "Happy Valentine's Day!" It will be
great to do that for my Mom on Valentine's Day.
MEAGHAN HURLEY My special Valentine is my
best friend Sasha. On Valentine's Day I will make the day special by doing
all the writing for Sasha because she dislikes writing. I will give her
some truffles because she loves them. Next, I will take her out to dinner
and dessert. All in all, my best friend is great.
MAKAYLA DELANEY My special Valentines are
my whole family because I love them. On Val-entine's Day I want to buy my
family gifts.When it's Valentine's Day I like to spend time with the
people I love. My Mom gives me one present and I'm going to wear a dress.
All I need for February14th is my family.
BARBARA BIEBER My special Valentine is my
sister Myriah because she is my only sister and I love her. On Valentine's
Day I will be very nice to her and will not take her stuff. I will get
things for her that I usually would not get for her and let Myriah play
with my stuff that I sometimes would not let her play with.
MICHAEL NICKERSON My Valentine's are my
Mom and Dad because they work hard. I will appreciate everything they do
for me. I will take care of Rex, my dog, so they don't have to. I will be
nice to my brothers and sister and do what my parents want me to do for a
change.
COOPER CROWE I will do something special
for my Mom, who is my Valentine. On February 14th I will buy her an error
coin that she really wants. I will do this for her because she does a lot
of nice things for me. She is my Valentine because she is always kind to
me. I hope she will be surprised! In conclusion, my Mom really deserves
something special!!
LINDSEY BRENNER I will give my Valentine,
Samantha Doolan, a big surprise gift this year! Sam is one of my best
friends. I want her to know that. So I will give a card that reads,
"Hello, Sam! Meet (me) at the recess corner. Then there will be
another card and it will be a bigger card, a pop up in a jar. The jar
would say, "Happy Valentine's Day from Lindsey. P.S. you are the best
friend ever.
JAMES ROBINSON I have a wonderful
Valentine who is my mother. On February 14th I will give her breakfast in
bed and get her anything she needs. I will give my Mom a Valentine card
and get her a necklace. I will do all my chores and clean up my dirty
room. After that, I'll make my Mom her favorite pie and food. Finally,
I'll give her a big hug. All in all, I will make this Day special in every
way.
MATTHEW GROTE This year my Valentine will
be my Mom. First, I will pick out a special present like a box of
chocolates and card. Next, I will wrap the box of chocolates and put a bow
on it. Then, I will get a flower and tape the card and flower on the box
of chocolates. After that, I will hide it until Val-entine's Day comes.
Finally, when Valentine's Day comes I will giver her the box of
chocolates, card, and flowers.
MERIDITH BEIRD My Valentine, my best friend
Allie, will get a special gift. On February 13th, after school I will make
Allie a present. On Valentine's Day, when I get to school and give Allie
her gift, I will ask her if she wants to sit with me at lunch and play
with me at recess. I will try to make Allie's Valentine's Day a great one.
Allie will be so happy on Valentine's Day. |
