SHAMIKA WALLACE – When I leave KES I am going to miss Mrs. Desharnais. I will go to KIS for the 3rd grade. I think it will be hard for me.

JACOB ANDERSON – I am happy that I am going to 3rd grade. I think I’ll like it and I hope it will be fun.

BRITTANY BOWEN – I feel very sad about leaving KES. I will miss everyone. I hope every nice kid gets into Mrs. Desharnais class. I don’t want to go. I will miss the teachers and kids.

MAX MURRAY – I can’t wait to graduate but at the same time I’m remembering the fun times at KES and KIS. All of us have a lot of memories. After all we’ve been at KES and KIS for more than half our lives and are hoping to get good memories at the Jr. High and High School.

DARCY CARROLL – I’m very excited but also a little nervous about entering 7th grade. It’s so exciting to enter a new school and meeting new friends. I’m also a little nervous because I’ve heard stories about bullies putting kids heads down toilets and I don’t want that. But I know it will be fun.

SARAH CAZEAULT – I have mixed feelings about leaving Kingston Intermediate. I am excited to make new friends. In Jr. High I can take part in more activities, and join clubs. On the other hand I will miss all the teachers. KIS is a small school, I know the routine, and feel comfortable there.

JAMIE ERIKSON – I’m proud to graduate and see how much I’ve learned. In a way its kind of sad to imagine that I will never get to see all my old teachers. I can’t wait until Jr. High because I get more choices and new friends, but in a way scared. What if no one likes me?

TYLER DRAKE – I am very excited because I can’t wait to go to the new school. I really want to go to it to make new friends and I really want to see the Junior High. I am also kind of nervous because I am going to have to walk around the school, but I know people will help me around.

KEVIN PATELINE – My feelings about next fall are scattered. I am excited about going to a new school and having more priv-ileges. I am also nervous about new schedules, teachers, and no recess! For the most part I am looking forward to the new school.

NICK GORMLEY – I don’t want to leave KES because I have a nice teacher and a nice school. When I go to 3rd grade I want to have a nice teacher. Well that’s if I go. I probably will. The End.

KRISTEN MANGANO – I will miss KES but I will probably like going to 3rd grade. I don’t know if I will like 3rd grade.

DOMINIC VITO – I am sad because I am leaving all my teachers. They were really nice. I wish I could not leave KES. But I will go to KIS and I will not be mad. My brother was there. His name is John.

MARISSA BROOKS – When I leave KES and enter KIS I will feel sad. I will miss all the teachers that I had they made my life great.

AMANDA GIBBONS – I think that going into a new school will be fun. No more walking in lines or assigned lunch seats. I’m looking forward to making new friends, switching classes, and taking a language. Jr. High will be fun!! As for graduating, I think it’s going to go by fast.

JAN WOJTASINSKI – Thoughts on graduating 6th grade can me put into one sentence, "Thank the Lord it’s over." I have had fun in the 6th grade but I will be relieved when summer comes. I think a new school will be fun, new subjects, and more new friends. All in all I would comment more but I am only limited to fifty words so there is only four words I have to say, "Good Luck 5th Graders."

TIM LAKE – I feel scared and happy. I am scared because I am going to a new school. I am happy because I will meet new friends.

I think it will be a great experience, and I think after I get used to 7th grade I’ll love it. I will miss the teachers and everything else at KIS!

GILLIAN WHITE – I look forward with much excitement to meeting new people from different towns and broadening my circle of friends. I also have some sadness about leaving KIS. I’ve made good friends and I’ve had many memorable experiences that will help me in the future, especially the help from my teachers. I’ve learned so much and have so much to learn. Thanks to my many teachers who’ve helped me get this far.

Even little things I’m excited about like not walking in lines or being able to talk in halls. I’m definitely ready to be entering a brand new school.

BROOKE NORVISK – I think leaving 6th grade is going to be exciting and sad, all at the same time. I think it’s going to be exciting, because I’ll meet so many new kids. But I also think it will be sad because I won’t see a lot of my friends that I see now.

CHRISTINE KELLEY – I feel pretty confident about graduating the 6th grade and entering a new school, but I am also nervous about all the new kids and teachers there. I am not sure if I can handle all the work, but I will definitely try. Also I am scared if some of the kids won’t like me and all my old friends will forget about me, but I can’t stress and I am looking forward to my two awesome years in Silver Lake Jr. High.

ALEXANDRA FISKE – I have mixed feelings on graduating 6th grade. I am really excited. However, I am a little nervous also. I am kind of sad to leave behind all of the memories that I have had at K.E.S. and K.I.S. I am so excited to make new friends and to have a lot more friends.

WAYNE CARLSON – I’m happy that I’m finally leaving the intermediate and elementary schools after 7 years of school. I feel happy and good about going to the Junior High because I hope to make many new friends. I want to also meet new people and teachers.
