Question:
What are you going
to do
during Summer Vacation?
Featuring KES children from the
second grade classes of Ms.Sullivan and Ms.Leavitt.
KAITLIN BURGESS – I will play softball. I
always play either first, second or third base. When I go to bat I am
always the sixth person up. I have to practice and practice.
ROBERT NOCHER – I will go to Newport
Baseball Camp where my uncle is in charge. I scrimmage with other teams
and I stay there for a whole week. This is my second year going. I
practice so I will get better and better. I have hit nine homeruns at
Newport Baseball Camp.
JARED L. HAITE – I will travel to New
Hampshire. I will see my aunt and stay for a few days. My cousin baby Mike
is going to play with my brother and me. We play copycat and he is the
leader. Sometimes my brother and I go upstairs to play soccer without baby
Mike.
KAELIN JENKINS-BROWN – I will go to
my brother’s birthday party. I will make a present for him. I will make
a heart with a picture of him in the middle. I will help my dad put
frosting on the cake. I know I will have fun.
AMERON COX – I am playing baseball games. Now,
when I play I have to remember the rules. The rules are you can slide at
home, second, and third. If you slide at first you are automatically out.
JACKIE HURLEY – I will go to a soccer camp
in Plymouth. My best friends are going too. We are going to practice our
soccer skills. I played on a soccer team in the winter at the same place.
Many of the people on my team are going.
ZACHARY FRANCIS – I will go swimming at
Morton Pond. My mom is not working the whole summer so we can go swimming
every day of the summer. I am going to bring my net to catch fish. I might
find a turtle because last year my brother found one.
THOMAS KATSIKAS – I will go to the Reed
building. I have so much fun there. They have special days like foam in
the field day and roller blad day. They have a huge party on the last day.
There are hot dogs and hamburgers too.
ROBERT DAVIES – I will go to the beach and
build a sandcastle, collect seashells, go swimming and try to find a crab.
Last time I went to the beach I found muscles. Then I will get a chocolate
Ice cream.
RYAN WALLACE – I will travel to my nana’s
house to go in her pool. I am going to jump off her diving board and do a
cannon ball. My friend and I are going to lay Marco Polo.
DAISEY WOLFRUM – I will go to the Cayman
Islands and go parasailing. The temperature is in the 90s and we will rent
a wave-runner - they are fun. We will eat a lot of rum cake and my
favorite is banana.
NICK FOLEY – I’m going camping. I will help
my dad set up camp and make a fire. We can organize camp and I will also
help him take down the camp. I love to help my dad.
JIMMY ROBARE – I am going fishing and
claming with my dad. I might be able to dig the hole for the clams this
year. I like to dig for clams but I don’t like to eat them. Also, my
family is going to New Hampshire.
SAM BEANE – This summer I’m going to go to
Camp Squanto. There I will swim, fish, canoe, and do lots of activities.
After camp I will go to Georgia’s house to visit. It will be great!
STEVEN CHARPENTIER – This summer I’m
going to the Lost River in New Hampshire. It has thousands of steps and
you can collect lots of stones. Last time I was there we saw birds and
different kinds of animals. After that we will visit a museum with animal
and dinosaur bones. It will be fun!!
ADAM LEWIS – What I am going to do on my
summer vacation is go to the beach, play with my friends, and sleep over
at my friend’s house. I am going to a Paw Sox game with my family and
also go to my uncle’s house to swim in his pool and ot have a barbecue.
COLLIN OLIVER – Over my summer vacation I
will not go anywhere but I will try to make it my best vacation by having
friends over and maybe even a sleepover. In the morning I will watch
cartoons. My family and I will probably have pancakes for breakfast. At
1:00pm I can invite someone over.
PATRICK FINN – This summer I’m going to Camp
Norse. I has fun things there like medical training, gun and arrow
shooting. We will play games and do crafts. After that my family is going
to Maine. I’ll be going canoeing, fishing, swimming and bike riding. I
think it will be fun!!
NICOLE BROWN – On summer vacation I’m going
to get enw earrings and put them in. And I will also learn how to swim. My
dad said he will teach me how to swim. It will be so much fun.
CHARLIE HOWARD – I am going to New Jersey
for five days. I’m joining a camp there. We are also going to a huge
lake to swim. I can’t wait to swim in the lake. It’s going to be
great!
LEA CUNNINGHAM – One thing I’m going
to do this summer is run Camp Fri-endship with Corey and Michelle. We
already have 5 people in the group, Corey’s cousins, Jake and Kathy, our
friends Adam and Grace, and maybe my cousin Madison. Another thing I’m
going to do is get the new light for my kitchen that is red and white.
THOMAS FRIZZELL – When I go to Battle Ship
Cove my mom and dad will come. I hope I will see an aircraft carrier. I
might be able to go in a ship. When I go I might get something for a
souvenir.
MEREDITH BOTSCH – This summer I am going cam
ping in Maine. My cousin night come with me. At Maine we are going to
roast mars-hmallows and sleep in a tent. I don’t know if there is wolves
there or raccoons. I hope there isn’t any wild animals there. It’s
probably going to be really fun.
IRETHA ANDERSON – One thing I am going to
do this summer is go swimming in my pool. Going swimming is fun because
you can do cannon balls and go under the water without closing your eyes.
There is so many things you can do in the pool instead of swimming. I love
swimming. It is the best thing to do in the summer.
MICHAEL ATCHISON – I am moving to Maine
this summer. We might not move back. I am going to Canobie Lake Park and
ride a water slide. I know this will be fun.
HALEY McSHANE – This summer I’m gong to
Cape Cod with my cousins. We are going to try out the trampolines and mini
cars. I wonder if I will get to drive the car? We get to go to the beach
too. It will be fun!!
SAMMI TRAFICANTE – This summer I am
going to a horse show at Fieldstone Farm. The show will be a walk, trot,
class show. I am riding a horse named Bon-ney and I hope to win. After
that I am going to Maine. Summer will be so much fun.
BRYNNE KIGHT – This summer vacation my family
and I are going to Florida first and the North Carolina. My mom says it’s
going to be so much fun in Florida. I just can’t wait. After we are
going to North Carolina to stay with my Grandma who lives there. This will
be the best summer vacation ever!
OLIVIA SEARS – This summer I am going over
Hallie’s house. We will play hide-and-seek and Clue. Did you know she
has a toy poodle? I’ll also go to the beach. My mom will pack a lunch
and we’ll build a sandcastle. This is going to be great.
MICHELLE McBRIDE – This summer I’m going
to California for two weeks to see my uncle Mark’s new house on the
beach. You can see lots of mountains behind his house. Later in the summer
I’ll go to Maine. My mom’s family has a cottage on a lake and her
whole family will be there. It will be so much fun in Maine.
DANNY GAZZOLA – I am going to Lake George
this summer. They have bowling, soccer fields and basketball courts. All
we’ll do is play, play, play. |
