It all sounded good leading up to New Year's Day. I talked the talk but did not walk the walk. Instead, I ate and ate. Yes, that's right. I gulped up every last nibble of food the weeks leading up to New Year's. I munched on Oreos, I ate pounds of chocolate covered peanuts, hit the drive-thru, licked the gravy off my plate, supersized everything and even switched from milk to cream just to enjoy it for a few weeks. I knew it was absurd at the time but boy did it taste good….until New Year's Day arrived
